Job Description: The Principal will be responsible for the overall administration and leadership of the school.
This includes developing and implementing educational programs, managing staff, and ensuring
a safe and productive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment
to student achievement, staff development, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional leadership and support to teachers and staff.
• Develop and implement school policies, programs and curriculum.
• Foster a positive school culture that promotes student engagement and success.
• Oversee the daily operations of the school, including budgeting and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with parents, community members and other stakeholders to support student learning and wellbeing.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and standards.
• Lead professional development initiatives for staff.
• Monitor and evaluate student performance and implement strategies for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Building Leader (SBL) certification.
• Master’s degree in education or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of teaching experience, with at least three years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of middle school education and adolescent development.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive school environment
