Good morning, Stafford Parents & Guardians!

We have to start by saying we were rewarded with the preview of the Talent Show some of your students put on for us Friday afternoon, and SMS definitely has talent!! Thank you for encouraging and supporting your students that allowed them the courage it takes to step up on the stage in front of their peers!

It’s that time of year where your student can apply for a summer job! SWEET applications are available in the Guidance Office and students who are 14-20 years old can apply! However, do not have them wait because the deadline is April 30th! Interviews will be in May, and income eligibility guidelines apply.

Modified track practice will be from 3:30p-4:30p at SMS!

A HUGE Congratulations to the SMS Science Olympiad Team for their amazing job at the State Competition! Many team members placed higher than 35% in their main events including two students for Air Trajectory, two students for the Stars and two students in Wind Power. Two of the students even finished 4th place in Mission Possible. Many others finished in top 50%. GREAT job on a wonderful event and way to represent SMS!!!

Today, at SMS, is an A-Day and for lunch we will be serving up some sticky chicken, vegetable fried rice, fresh fruits/veggies and milk!
