Meningococcal Immunization now required for 7th and 12th grade students in NY State
There will be a new vaccine requirement this fall for all 7th and 12th grade students. According to the mandate students should show up the first day of school with a record of meningococcal immunization or they are excluded until immunized.
Students who do not have documentation of the required Meningococcal vaccine will be called down to the health office the first day of school, and will be advised that they will be excluded as of the second day until they show proof of vaccine.
