Congratulations to Science Olympiad team Hornets for placing 3rd in the Capital Region Invitational this past Saturday!  Students performed incredibly well, earning a medal in 9 events! Congratulations to all competitors and medalists!

The following students earned a medal, placing in the top 6:

Experimental Design – 6th place John Cantwell, Bransen Fitzwater, and Mimi Zantana

Dynamic Planet – 2nd place – James Bayer and Justina Lin as well as invitational champions Nate Lambert and Grace Willmott taking first place!

Optics – 3rd place – John Cantwell and Ben Lambert as well as 5th place – Vincenzo Gallicchio and Zachary Tuller

Write-it Do-it – 5th place – Lola Greer and Mimi Zantana

Codebusters – Invitational Champions John Cantwell, Lola Greer, and Nate Lambert taking first place!

Ecology 6th place – Bransen Fitzwater and Delaney Mullholland

Fossils – 2nd place – Scott Gommel and Mimi Zantana

Scrambler – 4th place – John Cantwell and Cohen Fitzwater

CLUB ANNOUNCEMENTS

GAPP Club is having a Chipotle fundraiser Wednesday, from 4-8PM order online using the code 4QA2ELD.  You can then pick it up at Chipotle, in Plattsburgh New York.

A GAPP Club Meeting will be Wednesday, January 10th after school in Ms. Klimkiewicz’s Room 213.

The Junior Class will be having another fundraiser to raise funds for the Junior Prom. We will be selling Rulf’s Orchard’s donuts from tomorrow, January 9th through January 23rd. They will be sold by the $12/dozen. If any Junior is interested in selling please see Ms. Boutin in room 314. Thank you in advance for your support!! If you have any questions see Ms. Boutin, Mrs. McCoy, or one of your awesome class officers.
