A reminder that the Select Vocal Ensemble Rehearsal is after school today in Room 108 from 2:45-4pm. Thank you.
Equalosity is hosting a movie night tomorrow, Tuesday, May 21. Come by the Lecture Hall in room 226 after school to watch “Love, Simon”. The movie features Simon Spier, a seventeen-year-old who’s unsure of how to come out of the closet to his loved ones. Snacks and Juice boxes will be provided. Entrance is free, and the movie will run from 3-5pm.
Attention all seniors – photo submission for the senior slideshow is due no later than May 28th. Please see your class Teams for more information. Thank you.
GAPP Club will be hosting a bottle drive tomorrow, May 21st from 3-5 pm. Just drop by with your recyclable cans and bottles at the breezeway doors near the auditorium, and we’ll do the rest. You can drive away knowing that you’ll be supporting intercultural exchange among students! If that time frame isn’t convenient for you, drop them off in Mrs. K’s Room 213 anytime between Monday May 20th and Wednesday May 22nd!
There is a Boys Summer Soccer meeting today, May 20th right after school in room 249. See Coach LaRose if you cannot make this meeting.
Silent Study Days start in the library on May 28th!!! During these days, students coming to the library must have work to complete and a pre-signed pass from the teacher for whom they are doing the work. There will be a voice level expectation of 0 and no phones allowed – take advantage of these Silent Study Days to catch up on work or study for end of the year exams.
Are you interested in law, juvenile justice, or just want to make a difference by giving back to your own community? Join the Clinton County Youth Court! Youth Court is a county run program that provides a unique opportunity to serve as members of a court for youth who have committed real offenses. All roles in the court room (Judge, Attorney, Clerk bailiff and jury) are fulfilled by the members. Members earn community service credit hours for all of their time participating with the Youth Court.
The Clinton County Youth Court will be holding a 2-day new member training July 1st and 2nd. For more information, please visit the guidance office for an application or keep your eye out for flyers and scan the QR code to fill out an application online!
