CERTIFICATION: NYS Childhood Education and Literacy

EXPERIENCE:

• Literacy Certification
• Awareness of direct instructional methodology and solid background in ELA and Math
• Ability to collaborate and initiate collaboration with classroom teachers
• Ability to implement assessments, review performance, analyze data and create personal plans for students
• Individual who can instruct whole group, small group and individual students
• Use data and progress monitoring to assess in grouping children in need of additional support
• Follow all district instructional, assessment and accountability requirements
• Carry out research validated direct instruction programming
• Establish clear objective for all instruction

SALARY: Plattsburgh Teachers’ Association Contract
