Dear Hornet families and colleagues:

The parent of a Plattsburgh CSD student has tested positive for COVID 19. The student has been
directed by the Clinton County Health Department to quarantine, and is not symptomatic. No other
students or faculty/staff have been implicated in contact tracing at this time. The student was last
present, in-person in a PCSD school building, yesterday. In keeping with this student’s required
quarantine, he/she will be excluded from in-person attendance for the foreseeable future.

No change to school operations has been recommended nor is contemplated at this time.

The Clinton County Health Department will update the district if/as circumstances change, and the
district will, in turn, update parents and faculty/staff as appropriate.
