Plattsburgh City School District is excited to provide strong learning programs for our littlest hornets!
**Please be aware that UPK is dependent upon grant funding and/or evolving regulations**
Who is eligible for Pre-K?
Pre-k students must live in the Plattsburgh City School District and be four years old on or before December 1, 2025. A child who is age eligible for kindergarten may not attend the pre-k program.
Where are classes held and what is the schedule?
Glasgow Elementary School has two pre-k classrooms. Momot Elementary School has one pre-k classroom. The pre-k program follows the school district calendar.

Glasgow: 8:35-2:30Momot: 8:25-2:25
How are students selected?
In the event that there are more applicants than available spaces, student placements will be determined through the use of a random lottery process that will take place on April 30, 2025. Those not selected through the lottery process will be placed on a waiting list.
How will I be notified that my child was selected for the program?
All families who submit the interest form by the deadline (April 29, 2025) will receive acceptance/declination letters. The letters will be sent out via email the first week of May.
