Brian P. Mehan Memorial Scholarship

Brian P. Mehan Memorial Scholarship – $1,000

The Brian Mehan Memorial Scholarship is given in the memory of Brian P. Mehan, a 2005 graduate of PHS, who loved and enjoyed sports (and Star Wars) in his short 20 years of life. Brian received the black letter for baseball in 2005 and was voted a most outstanding athlete. Through this scholarship, it is hoped that other young people will be enriched by their pursuit and involvement in athletics.

Worthy recipients of this scholarship will be a graduating Plattsburgh High School student who is selected by the scholarship committee and meets the following criteria:

• Senior Boy and Girl
• Must Have a Solid 80-85% Average
• Must be a 2-3-Sport Athlete
• Must Attend 2 or 4 Year College
• Might Play a Sport in College
• Exceptions May Be Considered
