Also, Early Birthday Wishes to Ms. McCormick, Ms Armstrong-Zantana, Ms LaCroix and Ms. Charlebois!
All library materials are due back by June 13th!! We currently have 186 items checked out. If one of them belongs to you, please return it ASAP! You can still come to the library to catch up on last minute work or study for end of the year tests. Be sure you come with a pass and work from your teacher and keep in mind that the voice level expectation is 0 and that no phones are allowed.
GAPP: We will have our last German Club Meeting on Thursday, June 6th in Room 213. Please be sure to attend to hear final updates regarding our German students’ visit in the Fall!
A reminder that there is no school for students tomorrow unless you have a Regent Exam. There will be no bussing for morning or afternoon CVTEC students.
It’s time to sign up for your Fall Sport. Come to the Health Office today through June 13 to get your name on the list for the fall. Sports clearances will have a different process this fall so it’s important that you sign up before the end of this school year.
Pre-Ordered Yearbooks Have Arrived! Students who “PRE-ORDERED” a 2024 PHS Yearbook, they have arrived and are available for pick up! Students can pick up their ‘pre-purchased’ copy in room 207 (Mrs. Sullivan) during their free periods. Room 207 will be open in the morning and during lunch periods. Be sure students have a signed pass to see Ms. Sullivan. Thank you. Thank you!
Class Officer Petitions are available for students wanting to run for a class officer position, which include President, Vice President, Recording and Corresponding Secretaries and Treasure. Petitions are available outside of Ms. Fresn, Ms. Boutin’s and Ms. Oshier’s classrooms. Any questions, see your class advisor.
Attention Boys Soccer Players: There is a mandatory meeting TODAY at 2:50pm in Room 249. The summer schedule will be handed out and it will also be a time for anyone who has not already signed up, to have the opportunity to sign up for this year’s summer league. The meeting will last 15 minutes. If you cannot attend, please see Coach LaRose.
Key Club is meeting is mandatory. This week is the Key Club Induction ceremony. All hours must be turned in by Tuesday, June 4th
Students will no longer receive pre-signed passes to the Gym. They must stay in their study hall or their respective classes to prepare for final exams/regents.
Our last concert of the year – the Evening of Vocal Music on June 4th in the Library at 7:00pm. Come hear why the Select Vocal Ensemble earned a level 6 Gold with Distinction rating at their recent state assessment. This concert features just the Select Vocal Ensemble and incredible solos/duets. It’s more recital than concert – where you get to hear the group with no microphones, no amplification…. just pure awesome talent and musicianship! We hope to see you there!

SENIOR ANNOUNCEMENTS
Seniors! Bring your laptops to school on Thursday, June 6th!! That is the day you can turn your laptops in at the library! Remember, you MUST turn in your laptop and charger before graduation. See Mrs. Nadge if you have questions.
Once again, this year we will be having a class speaker at Graduation. If you are interested in giving a speech at Graduation, please submit a typed, three-to-four-minute speech to Ms. Rose in the Guidance Office by June 5, 2024.
Speeches will be judged anonymously, please refrain from personalizing your speech that would make it easy to identify who the author is. The chosen speaker will be announced at the Senior Picnic.
All Seniors will need to have a Code of Conduct Letter on file before they can attend any of the Senior functions. Please see Ms. Fresn in Room 245 or pick one up in the Main Office.

It is now Silent Study Days in the Library. During these days, students coming to the library must have work to complete and a pre-signed pass from the teacher for whom they are doing the work. There will be a voice level expectation of 0 and no phones allowed – take advantage of these Silent Study Days to catch up on work or study for end of the year exams.
