Congratulations to all Select Vocal Ensemble members for an outstanding performance yesterday.  Students prepared level 6 literature which considered the most difficult and achieved a rating of Gold With Distinction.  While this was not a first place, second place… type of competition, this may help put it in perspective:  the last time results for this statewide festival were advertised, only a handful of schools through the entire state were rated as Gold with Distinction on level 6 literature.  Our SVE students worked so hard yesterday and embodied the character trait for May:  Motivation.  They chose to challenge themselves and to motivate themselves to achieve excellence. PHS is very proud of you!

GAPP Club will be hosting a bottle drive today, please drop them off in Mrs. K’s Room 213 anytime today before 2:30pm

Silent Study Days start in the library on May 28th!!! During these days, students coming to the library must have work to complete and a pre-signed pass from the teacher for whom they are doing the work. There will be a voice level expectation of 0 and no phones allowed – take advantage of these Silent Study Days to catch up on work or study for end of the year exams.
