Today is a B Day!

Congratulations to Fermata Nowhere on their amazing performance at the International Championship of High School A Cappella this past weekend. They placed 4th out of 10 schools, and they were the only middle school group at the competition. You made our entire community proud! There will be no Fermata Nowhere rehearsals this week! 

Congratulations to the MATHCOUNTS team for their 1st-place finish at the regional competition. They were led by Tiffany Li who took 3rd place overall and Cooper Politewicz who took 1st. The team will now move on to compete at the state competition in March. Great job! 

There will be intramurals Tuesday and Thursday after school this week.

8th Graders- Little Caesars Fundraising kits will be delivered to school on Tuesday, February 13th. You will receive them at the end of the school day to take home, please plan accordingly.  

The Spelling Bee club will meet today, tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday this week.      

There will be an Open Swim for SMS students and all Plattsburgh District staff and families this Thursday February 15th from 6 to 7:30 pm. Signups are in the nurse’s office.  

Happy Kindness week! Student Council challenges you to be extra kind! Get caught being kind by a teacher and receive a PINK kindness buck. Put your kindness buck in the raffle jar at lunch to enter to win a prize. Prizes will be drawn Friday afternoon! 

Students who do not have Office Discipline Referrals between NOW and March 8th in the area of Defiance and Refusal can attend the March 8th Student Council School Pride Dance. Remember to always be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible.
